I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. I grew up hunting, fishing, camping, snow/water skiing and playing softball. I have always loved being outdoors. I learned to snow ski at the age of two and I was water skiing by the age of five. During college I played softball for Snow College (UT) and Northern State University (SD). I loved to dance but I always chose sports first during my high school and college years. I've worked extensively in the dental field. I've held almost every position possible in a dental office, from assistant to office manager.
I married my husband in 1998. We lived in Utah until 2000, when we relocated to Gerry, New York. I had always been interested in shooting a bow but never really had the opportunity to until moving to New York. I was looking for something to do as an indoor activity during the long, cold western New York winters when a friend suggested I visit a local indoor range. That was four years ago and I've been addicted ever since. I've won a few state and national 3D tournaments in the past few years shooting in the hunter class. As of July 2008, I am ranked forth in my class with the IBO and ASA. I've had a busy and fun 3D season. It was worth all the hard work and training. Soon archery tournament season will be ending and I'm very much looking forward to football and hunting season. I have several hunts scheduled throughout the country.
I've never been afraid to try the things I found to be interesting. Like most girls I always thought being a NFL cheerleader would be an amazing experience. So with that, I decided in 2007 to pursue that dream. Amazingly, I managed to make the 2007 Buffalo Bills Cheerleading Squad ( the Jills) and I've been fortunate enough to be able to continue with the Jills for the upcoming 2008 season.
One of my other passions is cooking and baking. Someday I would love to own a bakery or restaurant of some kind. I usually bake something for someone at least three times a week. In 2007 I developed a recipe for the Ultimate Peanut Butter Pie and entered it in the Crisco National Pie Championship... it won first place.
